You know we all shall die – there’s no escape: at the hour of God’s choosing we all must go to that place of no return.

People didn’t just write continuations of Perceval - some also wrote prologues, like Bliocadran - which follows Perceval’s father¹, trying to explain why Perceval’s mother hid him away from knighthood in the first place.
