These Passions relate to a character’s reaction to acclaim and blame.

A Modest character avoids adoration or recognition. When they are noticed at all, they may be considered shy or demure.

In contrast, a Proud character seeks acknowledgment. When this seems over-eager, they may be called boastful, arrogant or vainglorious.
