Also Arthur himself, having put on a coat of mail suitable to the grandeur or so powerful a king, placed a golden helmet upon his head, on which was engraven the figure of a dragon; and on his shoulders his shield called Priwen; upon which a picture of the blessed Mary, mother of God, was painted, in order to put him frequently in mind of her.

A field to put the Patron Saint or deity (the naming is so convoluted because these are different concepts - and there’s still some potential religions on the board that… the player has to figure out what to put here instead1) of the character.

Invoking a Patron
WIP, but I’m leaning towards once per session you can invoke them to completely redo a roll (the entire Dice Pool) - taking whatever the new roll is instead of the first.
I like this as unobtrusive, but keeping it in players’ minds (because the goal is to keep the religious parts of a character2), while making it useful in desperate situations while still being unsure, even potentially detrimental.

The point is that it’s a spiritual force, not a physical person, but it’s one the character could call out on, however metaphorically that is (whether it’s just “calling to remember the stories that teach you how to deal with this” or actual divine intervention we’re looking at here) ↩

Even though they don’t need to be particularly religious to have this. They can be in a lot of doubt about the actual effect. ↩
